TempoKit is designed to work locally on your device. We do not operate a user account system or collect personal data through our own servers for analytics, advertising, or profiling.
1. Overview
This Privacy Policy explains how TempoKit handles information when you use the app. TempoKit does not require account registration and does not intentionally collect personal data on company-operated servers.
2. Information We Do Not Collect
TempoKit does not ask you to create an account and does not request:
- Your name
- Your email address for sign-in
- Your phone number
- Your home address
- Your payment card details
Purchases are handled by Apple through the App Store. TempoKit does not receive your full payment information.
3. Motion and Device Permissions
TempoKit may request access to motion-related system permissions in order to estimate cadence, detect rhythm, and provide tempo coaching features. This processing takes place on your device.
4. Notifications
If you allow notifications, TempoKit uses them only for training plan reminders and session completion reminders. Notification choices are controlled by you in iOS Settings and in the app.
5. Local Storage
TempoKit stores app settings, training plans, and session history locally on your device so the app can function as expected.
6. iCloud Sync
If iCloud settings sync is enabled, TempoKit may sync certain app preferences through your Apple iCloud account across your own devices. TempoKit does not use this information for advertising, marketing, or profiling.
7. Analytics, Tracking, and Advertising
TempoKit does not use third-party advertising SDKs and does not track you across apps or websites for targeted advertising. TempoKit does not sell personal data.
8. Data Sharing
TempoKit does not share personal data with third parties for advertising or marketing purposes.
9. Data Retention and Deletion
Because TempoKit does not maintain user accounts or store personal data on company-operated servers, there is generally no server-side personal data for us to delete. You can remove local app data by:
- Deleting records in the app
- Disabling iCloud sync
- Uninstalling the app
10. Children's Privacy
TempoKit is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
